Paper Plate Animals Craft

Paper Plate Dog

 

Supplies Needed:

Paper Plate.

Orange cardstock paper.

Black and yellow craft paint.

Black coloring pen.

Glue stick.

Scissors.

Dog Ear template.

 

1) Gather your supplies.
2) Draw the dog’s eyes, nose, and mouth with your black coloring pen.
3) Paint the plate orange, leaving the eyes, nose, and mouth.
4) Paint the eyes black, leaving a small circular part inside. Draw the mouth and the tongue.
5) Paint the nose black, leaving a small circle. Also paint the mouth yellow, leaving the tongue.

 

 

 

 

 6) Place the dog ear template on the orange cardstock.
7) Cut out two dog ears from the orange cardstock paper.
8) Paint a black line around the edge and paint a small circle along the lower edge of one of the ears black.
9) Place the ears above the dog head.
10) Glue the ears along the underside of the plate.

 

Paper Plate Cow

 

Supplies Needed:

Paper plate.

Black craft paint.

Paint brush.

Black coloring pen.

White cardstock paper.

Glue stick.

Cow ears template.

1) Gather your supplies.
2) Draw the patterns for the patches on the cow with your black coloring pen.
3) Color the patterns black with black paint.
4) Draw two tiny circles inside one small circle for the two eyes.
5) Paint the eyes black, leaving the tiny circle. Draw the nose and the nostrils and paint the nostrils black.

 

6)Keep the ear template on white cardstock paper and draw the ears, facing opposite directions. 7) Cut out the ears.
8) Paint the outline of the ears black and paint the inside black, leaving roughly 1/2- inch along the edge.
9) Position the ears along the edge of the cow head and glue the ears to the back of the cow head.

 

Paper Plate Cat

 

Supplies Needed:

Paper plate.

Black, brown, red, and yellow craft paint.

Paint brush.

Black coloring pen.

Yellow cardstock paper.

Glue stick.

Cat ears template.

 

1) Draw the eyes, nose, mouth, and patches with your black coloring pen.
2) Paint the cat face yellow, leaving the eyes, nose, mouth, and patches.
3) Paint the patches brown.
4) Paint the eyes black and the nose red.

 

5) Cut the two cat ears from yellow cardstock paper, using the cat ear template.
6) Leaving about 1/2-inch from the edge, draw a line on the inside of the ears.
7) Paint the edge of the ears black. Leaving the small gap, paint the inside of the ears brown.
8) Glue the ears to the back of the head and meow your paper plate cat is ready!

 

Paper Plate Rabbit

 

Supplies Needed:

Paper plate.

Pink craft paint.

Paint brush.

Black coloring pen.

White cardstock paper.

Glue stick.

Rabbit ears template.

1) Gather your supplies.
2) Draw the eyes, nose, mouth, and rabbit teeth with your black coloring pen. Draw a tiny circle inside the nose for the nostril. Also, draw tiny circles inside the eyes.
3) Paint the rabbit face pink, leaving the eyes, nose, and teeth.
4) Paint the eyes black leaving the tiny circles and the nose red, leaving the nostril.

 

5) Cut the rabbit ears from the white cardstock using the rabbit ears templates.
6) Draw a line about 1/2-inch from the edge of the ears.
7) Draw black outlines for the ears and paint the inner ear pink.
8) Glue the ears behind the top of the rabbit head and your paper plate rabbit is ready!

 

Paper Plate Sheep

 

Supplies Needed:

Paper plate.

Grey craft paint.

Paint brush.

Black coloring pen.

White cardstock paper.

Glue stick.

Sheep ears and sheep wool templates.

 

1) Draw the eyes, nose, and mouth just like you did earlier and paint the eyes and nose.
2) Cut the two cow ears from the white cardstock, and paint the outline black and the inside grey, just like you did for the other animals.
3) Cut the sheep wool from the white cardstock, using the given template. Paint the outline black and the inside grey.
4) Place the ears behind the sheep head, but here, on the sides. 5) Glue the ears behind the sheep head and your paper plate sheep is ready!
