My instructions are so simple, you’ll be whipping up these blooms in no time. They’re a great activity for kids too, making it a fun family craft project.

So, gather a few supplies, ditch the expensive party decorations, and learn how to make a colorful and budget-friendly flower with tissue paper.

How to make a flower with tissue paper

 

Supplies Needed:

Tissue paper in any colors of your choice.

Some yarn or string to tie at the center.

Scissors.

 

 

Cut 8 x 4- inch pieces from your tissue paper.

 

You will need five of them.

 

Stack them up, lining up the edges and start folding the layer in accordion style from the lower edge.

 

Fold it completely till you reach the opposite edge.

 

Cut a piece from your yarn or string and tie it along the center. Cut off the extra.

 

Next,cut both edges round, using your scissors.

 

Spread out the accordion.

 

Start fluffing up the layers, one by one, starting from the top.

 

Keep fluffing up the layers till the whole of the layers are fluffed up and the flower has taken shape. Your tissue paper flower is ready!
