Make as many as you’d like and fill them with goodies to send to your friends and family or use them as return gifts for a birthday party.
You will Need:
Red cardstock paper for the strawberry body.
Green cardstock paper for the leaf.
Burlap string.
Scissors.
Black coloring pen.
Paper punch for punching holes.
Glue gun.
The lids of small containers or any circular object, with a diameter of approximately 6- inches and 3- inches.

Gather your supplies.

Cut a circle of diameter 6- inches from the red cardstock paper and 3- inches from the green cardstock paper.

Fold the red circle in half.

Fold it again in quarter.

Fold once more and draw a petal shape with smooth, curved edges and a sharp point at the tip.

Cut along the petal and discard the outer pieces.

Open and you will get a flower- shaped piece. Cut out two of the petals.

Fold it back and punch a hole through the layers, a little away from the pointed raw edge.

Apply hot glue along the open edges and glue them together, the last petal above the first.

It would look like this.

Thread the burlap string through the holes.

Pull the string to close. Now you can see that the strawberry has started taking shape.

Cut the strawberry leaf in the same manner as above and punch hole along the center.

Thread the burlap string through the hole in the center of the leaf and tie to secure.

Draw strawberry seeds with your black coloring pen, along the entire strawberry surface.

Ta-da! Your strawberry candy box is ready! Make a bunch, stuff them with sweet treats, and surprise someone you love with a little burst of joy!
