Sewing notions.

Gather your supplies.
Cutting dimensions:
Cut two bag main pieces with 18W x 20L – inches dimensions.
Cut one purse piece with 8W x 26L- inches dimensions.
Cut two strap pieces with 3.75W x 26L – inches dimensions.

Your pieces would look like this.

Take the purse piece and fold it in half widthwise with the right sides together. Take the circular object and place it along the corner. Trace the curve along the corner. Cut along the marked curve. This is to give curved edges to the closure of your purse. Repeat the same with the corners on the opposite side as well.

Sew around the edges leaving a small opening of about 2-inches along the side.

Clip the corners and the edges to reduce the bulk in the seam.

Bring the right side out through the opening.

Tuck in the raw edges and press taut.

Topstitch around the edges.
Let’s prepare the edges of the main bag pieces.

Take one of the bag main pieces, fold one of the short edges by 3/8- inch and press. Fold again by 1- inch and press once more. Repeat on the other main piece.
Let’s prepare the straps.

1)Take the strap pieces, fold the two long edge towards the wrong side by ½- inch and press.
2) Fold it in half again lengthwise and press once more. Sew the strap shut along the edge of the folds.
Next, we attach the straps to the main pieces of the bag.

Fold the main pieces lengthwise and press to form a crease along the center. Also mark the center point along the short edge.

Mark two points—each 4 inches from the center point—on either side. Tuck the edges of the strap under the fold, aligning them with the marked points, and secure with clips. Sew along the folded edge to close it, attaching the strap to the main piece as you sew.

Turn the strap upwards and sew again along the base to hold. Repeat the same on the other main piece, attaching the other strap.
Let’s attach the purse to the bag.

Fold the finished purse piece in half lengthwise and handpress to form a crease along the center.

Take one of the bag main pieces and place the finished pocked 3.75-inches from the top edge, lining up the center creases of the purse and the main piece. Pin in place.

Mark another point, 3.75 -inches from the curved edge of the purse and draw a line with your fabric marker.
Sew along the line and along the side edges as marked, leaving the flap and the bottom edge of the purse open.

Next, layer the two bag main pieces with the wrong sides together and sew it shut along the sides and bottom as marked.

Turn the bag over to the wrong side and sew along the sides and bottom again to cover the earlier seam.

Attach the KAM snaps on the purse, following the instruction manual and your fold and carry bag is ready for use.
