Step 1

You’ll have a post for a power cord which you plug into the wall on the other end, and one for a foot pedal.

What you’ll do is hang the cord down the side or front of your workspace and place the pedal on the floor at a spot that’s comfortable

The knob shown above is the handwheel. Turning this will move the needle up and down

Next, we will move to the front of the machine. On the left side is this area where you run the fabric through the machine.

In front of the needle and foot, there is a round piece of machinery with an empty cylinder in it. This is where you put your bobbin.

Step 7 

On the top left of the machine, you will see a couple of knobs and an arrangement of small metal pieces. Therese knobs control the tension of your threads.
