Gather your supplies

Take the plate and mark a line around the rim, with your dark green coloring pen

Pour a small portion of the dark green paint into your painting dish

Paint the outside of the line green, taking care not to cross the line

Take a bit of the light green paint. Paint a thin strip, almost 1/2- inch wide, all around, next to the dark green strip

Paint the remaining part red
